HR Data Analyst

Overview

The Squires Group is seeking an experienced HR Data Analyst to support HR data reporting, analytics, and People Soft HR workflows for our client. In this role, you will assist with HR transactions, metrics, and reporting needs while ensuring data accuracy and strong customer service. This position operates within a higher education environment and supports HR business processes in People Soft.

This role is onsite in Kingston, RI, and is open to Green Card Holders and U.S. Citizens only.

• Support HR data analysis, reporting, and metrics to inform business decisions.
• Maintain and process HR transactions within People Soft HR workflows.
• Assist HR partners with data audits, data integrity checks, and process improvements.
• Develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and tracking tools.
• Provide customer service support for HR data inquiries, workflow issues, and reporting needs.
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data while following institutional and regulatory requirements.

• Experience working with People Soft/PSFT HR workflows and transactions.
• Experience working in a higher education environment.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and HR data systems.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• W2 Hourly rate: $33 - $37. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications, and are subject to change at any time.
