The Staff Development Nurse / Infection Preventionist is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct all in-service educational programs as well as maintain all activities in the IC Program in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to; ensuring staff are educated and competant to perform their job duties, manage the employee health program and employee orientation, conduct interviews, coordinate job training and CPR. The candidate will assist with teaching the C.N.A. class in accordance with the approved curriculum.
As the Infection Preventionist, the candidate must have a valid IP certificate of training and a current RN License in the State of RI.
