Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our client's team. The primary responsibilities include supporting both the front and back office functions, managing patient intake, and providing clinical care in a busy ambulatory care setting with 8 providers. Candidate will be responsible for seeing approximately 20 patients daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage both front and back office duties.
• Perform back office duties such as taking vitals, patient intake, and chart preparation.
• Administer vaccines and injections.
• Conduct spirometry and EKG tests.
• Perform point of care testing including Flu, Strep, COVID, A1C, etc.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with Athena is preferred.

Skills

• Ability to handle both clinical and administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork capability.
