Field CNA

Overview

In-field training with SAH employees in client homes to assure tasks are being performed correctly and are in compliance with RI DOH

• The FCNA can evaluate employees in the absence of the RN Clinical Manager
• The FCNA will review clients’ ADL’s & care notes with employees when needed
• The FCNA will speak with new clients regarding various duties SAH CNAs can perform within our license. The FCNA will review and educate staff on the safest & most efficient ways to perform tasks.
• The FCNA will continue to work full time as a CNA for SAH
• The FCNA will attend Job Fairs & will have client & employee recruitment obligations
• The position requires at least 35 hours regular CNA shifts, occasional on-call services and approx. 5 – 10 additional hours (as needed) weekly for the FCNA duties
• This position requires some weekend hours as well as an occasional overnight.
• PTO will be accrued at 1 hour per 35 hours worked not to exceed more than 40 hours in 1 calendar year
• In-field training with SAH employees in client homes to assure tasks are being performed correctly and are in compliance with RI DOH
• If CNA’s need further skills training this will be reported to RN Clinical Manager and additional training will be scheduled accordingly with the FCNA
