Direct Support Professional - HBTS

Overview

Rate of pay: $24.00 per hour

Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) workers provide specialized, intensive direct support services for children with a wide range of disabilities who live king collaboratively with licensed healthcare professionals and family members, services are provided in the house and community in age-appropriate settings to develop social skills, communication, and positive behavior.

Up to $1,000 New Hire Sign-on Bonus. Great opportunity for CNAs, DSPs, Childcare workers, Daycare Teachers, and Residential Counselors—including college students, stay‑at‑home parents, paraprofessionals, and teachers seeking part‑time employment.

• Provide direct behavioral therapy to individuals ages 3 to 21, including role modeling and training to parents and families.
• Support the child and family by promoting individualized, person‑centered service delivery that meets all identified needs.
• Assist the child with self‑help and self‑care, and teach social and safety skills when applicable.
• Maintain ongoing communication and data reporting to clinicians and coordinators regarding the approved program.
• Perform all duties as needed to meet the specific needs of each child.

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum two years of experience working successfully with children/adults in a special health care, education, or. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field may be considered equivalent.
• Driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required.
