Accounts Payable and Procurement Support

Overview

The Squires Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to provide Accounts Payable and Procurement support for our client. In this role you will support procurement, sourcing, and accounts payable operations to ensure timely purchasing and accurate supplier payments. This role works closely with internal departments and vendors to maintain efficient purchasing processes and compliance with applicable regulations.
This role is based in the Kingston, Rhode Island area.Candidates will be expected to be onsite in Kingston, RI.

Per our client contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders.

• Support procurement and sourcing activities, including processing purchase requests and coordinating with vendors.

• Assist with accounts payable functions to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments.

• Maintain purchasing documentation and ensure compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations.

• Provide customer service and support to internal stakeholders regarding procurement and payment processes.

• Experience supporting procurement, sourcing, or accounts payable functions.

• Knowledge of state and federal purchasing regulations.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Higher education industry experience required.

• Experience with People Soft Financials required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• W2 Hourly rate: $36 - $40. Pay rates are based on experience and qualifications and are subject to change at any time.
