Responsibilities- Follow Ahlstrom manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures, and policies to maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for each grade of paper.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Must hold a valid journeyman card indicating completion of an accredited apprenticeship program.
- OR
Associate’s degree in one or more of the following:
Electromechanical, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical System Maintenance. - 5 years of relevant experience in the pulp and paper industry preferred.
- Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and respond to emergency call‑ins in accordance with the labor contract.
- Proven ability to work safely.
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds at waist level; up to 35 pounds to crown level.
- Push/pull up to 50 pounds of force; grip strength of at least 50 pounds.
- Work at low levels (kneel, crouch, crawl), climb a vertical ladder/stepladder/stairs.
- Walk continuously in safety‑toe footwear on concrete, metal, and uneven surfaces; balance on narrow surfaces.
- Perform wiring while lying on back or side; perform static forward/overhead work up to 2 minutes.
- Perform fine motor activities.
