Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

• 1:2 patient ratio maintained

• 2+ years ICU experience required

• Prior critical access/rural experience highly preferred

• Float to alike units within skillset and to other locations within 40-mile radius (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River)

• Floating can be pre-scheduled when needed

• Subject to low census and on-call status

• Call back minimum is 2 hours

• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RN license, AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS

• EPIC charting system used (no prior experience required)

• Any scrub color acceptable

• Occasionally care for pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases)

• During flu season, must wear mask at all times if declining flu and COVID vaccination

• Associate degree or certificate required

• Clinical interview required

• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility

• 13-week contract length
