Certified Medication Aide
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) position focusing on administering prescribed medications and supporting resident care within our senior living community.
Shift Options:
- PT AM shift 6a-2p
- FT & PT PM shift 2p-10p
- FT & PT NOC shift 10p-6a
Sign‑On Bonus:
Full‑Time $1,000 (distributed $250 after 90 days, $250 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year). Part‑Time $800 (distributed $200 after 90 days, $200 after 6 months, $400 after 1 year). Bonuses paid after meeting eligibility and employment requirements.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Document medications, monitor resident condition, and report changes to healthcare staff.
- Assist with vital signs, lab collections, and follow‑up communications with families and providers.
- Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
- Partner with the Healthcare Coordinator (HCC) in staff training, documentation, and incident reporting.
- Respond promptly to resident and visitor needs with professionalism and compassion.
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing required.
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and supporting resident mobility.
