Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features including Wallet
• Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; assist with enrollment and usage
• Handle returns following policy; collaborate with leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; manage baskets and hangers as needed
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; follow safety policies and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up, and related duties with compliance to laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Stay focused in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks

• Accurate handling of checkout operations and transactions
• Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise safely (lifting up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 44 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance
• Mobility for the duration of a shift
• Adaptability to varying temperatures and conditions
