Information Systems-Provider Application Educator (FT)

The Provider Applications Educator works under the direction of the Clinical Systems Supervisor / Senior Analyst, and is primarily responsible for training medical staff on the use of clinical systems. This role ensures that medical staff providers are confident and proficient in navigating the EHR through training, consistent rounding with the providers, and follow‑up.

• Mon‑Fri 8:00am‑5:00pm (to be discussed in interview)

• Analytical, customer service, and communication skills (including phone and email etiquette)
• Advanced computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and Excel, and the ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar computer applications
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to explain technical information to non‑technical users in a clear, supportive manner
• Ability to adapt training style to meet the needs of different learners

• 2‑4 years office management and/or project management experience; other applicable experience will be considered
• 1 year of acute hospital experience or ambulatory clinic experience, preferred
• Experience working with nurses, medical providers, and physicians, preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college level work, preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology, preferred
