We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join IDEAYA’s medical team. The Senior MSL serves as a key scientific communicator for IDEAYA, acting as the key conduit of medical and scientific information within a designated geographic region. This role blends strategic vision with clinical expertise and deep therapeutic area knowledge to support both external healthcare professionals and internal cross‑functional teams.

The Senior MSL is responsible for cultivating and maintaining credible, peer‑level relationships with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders. Through these relationships, the Senior MSL provides deep scientific and medical insights that inform IDEAYA’s initiatives and priorities. Additionally, the Senior MSL facilitates the exchange of clinical and scientific information, delivers educational support, and fosters research collaborations related to current and emerging therapies.

The Senior MSL consistently adheres to internal standard operating procedures and complies with all regulatory and compliance requirements, while maintaining up‑to‑date expertise in disease state management, emerging therapies, and the evolving treatment landscape.

The Senior Medical Science Liaison reports to the Senior Director of the U.S. Medical Science Liaison team. This role is a field‑based position and the incumbent must reside in California.

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of scientific content, educational materials, disease state knowledge, and therapeutic area expertise to establish credibility as a trusted scientific authority.
• Partner with physicians to advance Medical Affairs initiatives including publications, medical education, and advisory boards.
• Deliver up‑to‑date scientific education and insights on IDEAYA disease states, the evolving therapeutic landscape, and IDEAYA’s products across the development lifecycle to healthcare and allied healthcare professionals.
• Effectively communicate clinical insights from new scientific data back to Medical Affairs to support the development of therapeutic area strategy.
