Junior Project Manager

We are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager (M&E) to join a leading engineering organisation based in Retford. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your project management career, working on bespoke projects and installations across the UK, with a combination of office-based and hybrid working.

The Role:

As a Junior Project Manager, you will support the delivery of high-quality projects, assisting in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a professional standard. You will also have opportunities to travel to sites and client meetings across the UK, with occasional travel in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and delivery of projects, helping to ensure operational and budgetary targets are met

Assist in creating project plans, tracking progress, and reporting on milestones

Support project teams and contribute to a positive, collaborative working environment

Help identify and manage risks, ensuring Health & Safety compliance

Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Key

Skills & Experience:

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

Interest in engineering or mechanical projects

Some experience in project support or coordination (e.g., site visits, reporting, stakeholder liaison)

Flexibility to travel across the UK (full UK driving licence required)

Desirable:

Previous exposure to M&E or engineering projects

Basic understanding of project management principles (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)
