Shipment Operations Analyst

To thrive as the Shipment Operations Analyst, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) with 2+ years of experience in transportation operations, shipment tracking, exception management, or global logistics environments; prior experience working directly with carrier networks and real-time visibility platforms preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (including troubleshooting shipment and order-related issues), ERP systems, TMS platforms, carrier portals, and internal case/intervention management tools; ability to quickly learn new logistics technology systems and navigate high-volume operational dashboards.
- Solid understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), carrier performance metrics, transportation compliance, and contractual service commitments; demonstrated ability to manage high-value, time-sensitive, or critical shipments within a 24/7 operations or control tower environment preferred.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with professional, customer-focused engagement experience; ability to interpret SOPs and operational playbooks accurately, complete complex tasks with attention to detail, and collaborate across global teams; additional language proficiency and flexibility to support international operations and rotating shifts preferred.
- Own the full exception management lifecycle, driving end-to-end shipment intervention from detection through resolution within a high-volume, time-sensitive logistics environment.
- Engage directly with carrier escalation teams, securing updated ETAs, recovery plans, and verified corrective actions to ensure transportation performance and SLA adherence.
- Manage critical and priority shipments, applying risk assessment and proactive problem-solving to protect on-time delivery and customer commitments.
- Execute against standard operating procedures (SOPs) and customer playbooks, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistent operational execution across global carrier networks.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reporting within internal tracking systems, supporting data integrity, operational transparency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
