We are looking for motivated Cloud Software Engineers to support cloud software research, development, and engineering services including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, testing, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics is highly desired.
• Hadoop / Cloud Developer Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is required.

Skills/Experience

• Experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• Proficiency with high-level languages such as Java, C, C++.
• Experience with Open Source (No
  
  SQL) products like HBase, Accumulo, Big Table.
• Experience with Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Pig.
• Experience with HDFS, JSON/BSON serialization, developing Restful services, Linux, and object-oriented design.
• Experience with integrating and extending FOSS/COTS products, testing, and technical documentation.
• Experience in at least four of the desired skill areas, including deploying applications in cloud environments and data analytics.

Desired Skills/Experience

• Understanding of Big Data cloud scalability (Amazon, Google, Facebook).
• Experience with automated analytics, multimedia technologies, AI, and social network analytics.
• Knowledge of ontologies, data models, schemas, and technical documentation.
• Experience deploying applications in heterogeneous schema environments.
