Intermediate Application Engineer

The Net America Corporation is a Woman-owned firm specializing in IT/Software Engineering & Development, Organizational & Program Management, Multichannel Contact Centers & Help Desk Services, Peer Review & Grants Management, and Conference & Logistics Support.

This position will provide hands-on coding, code profiling, work closely with
client subject matter experts, the functional team and management to ensure the
successful development of the solution. Candidate
is expected to review and propose solutions to resolve legacy issues as well as
design new solutions.

• B. S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years overall professional experience in Information Technology Consulting and Systems Development
• 3+ years minimum experience in developing applications using Java, J2EE, SQL
• 1+ years in systems development using Struts 2, Spring, Hibernate, Ibatis, Mybatis, JQuery
• 3+ years in systems development with RDBMS
• Experience in an agile software development environment

Java Development-Design/Development/Test
-90%

-Attend Client meeting to discuss system requirements-10%

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in using IBM Rational Suite for Requirements Management
• 1 year experience in using IBM Rational Clear Case for source and document versioning
• 1 year experience with Websphere BPM or Process Server/Choreographer
• 1 year experience with Web logic AS
• 1-2 years of experience in agile software development
• 1-2 years of experience in continuous integration
• 1 year experience with Rational Team Concert, Jazz platform
• 1-2 years experience working in a CMMI Level 3 Systems Integration Environment
