Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain high‑performant APIs and software services for our 1P and 3P customers.
- Develop robust, maintainable, reusable code for managing functionality, configuration, deployment, monitoring, performance, scalability, availability, security, and alerting across test, integration, and production environments.
- Plan and implement changes—including reconfiguration, integration, removal, or addition of application components—to enhance the application’s functionality, resiliency, usability, and security.
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements, and assist in creating simple, modular, extensible designs that meet those requirements.
- Assess gaps, updates, and modifications between customer/business expectations and the existing product or solutions.
- Analyze defects from past projects to prevent recurrence of similar issues.
- Analyze system performance impacting the product for non‑functional requirements such as reliability, operability, performance efficiency, and security; troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test cases and deployment procedures.
- Follow and promote coding and design best practices developed by the team.
- Strong development experience in an object‑oriented language (Java, Python, C++, C#, etc.).
- Experience with cloud application development, including scalable, data‑driven, and message‑oriented architectures.
- Experience designing scalable microservices and loosely coupled services using asynchronous message processing (e.g., Kafka).
- Experience working on cloud‑scale relational and No‑SQL databases.
- Experience with design patterns, code repositories, version control practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in software quality and operational excellence practices.
- Experience with agile development methodology.
