Security Officer - Armed

Allied Universal - Up to $20.90/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.;
Control access by monitoring doors and visitor flow, verifying authorization as required, and directing individuals to the correct departments or waiting areas.;
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift transitions, and assist with security-related checks such as monitoring for unsecured doors and/or restricted-area compliance.
