Washington D.C. / Northern Virginia area; this is a remote role, but the successful candidate must reside in the area and be available to work collaboratively with our Government Solutions team in-person at our Reston, VA office on an as-needed basis.
Role Overview
The Senior Director leads a team of Account Managers who maintain and expand relationships with EFX Workforce Solutions (WS) and Government Solutions clients. This role strategically guides and supports the team to represent the entire suite of WS solutions for their assigned customer’s book of business. Responsibilities include driving revenue growth, client retention, and cross‑functional collaboration to capture new market share.
- Work closely with various business partners to provide best practices, insight, and direction to the Account Management team.
- Drive client retention of existing solutions through outstanding client service and support, ensuring clients recognize full value of solutions.
- Leverage Demand Generation strategies to drive revenue growth, serving as a trusted partner and advisor and maintaining productive relationships with client contacts.
- Identify, mobilize, and deliver the right people, solutions, resources, and ideas into the relationship from across the organization.
- Meet assigned measurements of success for growth and strategic objectives within the Government Solutions organization.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, providing thought around enhanced solutions and partnership.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals and RFP responses for own Book of Business (BOB).
- Provide subject‑matter expertise during these processes when the client is engaged with a Key Client Director or Vertical Leader.
- Engage in critical care efforts when WS is at risk of losing a client or incurring brand and reputation damage.
- Lead by example and develop team members.
- Track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales and client retention goals through delivery of services/products that add value and profit.
- Team player, coach and mentor.
Experience Required
- 7–10 years previous sales experience in technology, software, data, or professional services with a cross‑functional team approach.
- 3–5 years Management/Supervisory experience, preferably managing both strategic sales and high‑velocity teams.
- 3–5 years Government Sales Experience – State and Local, with Federal experience a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
- Travel up to 15% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits
Equifax is required by law to include a good‑faith salary range for this role: $135,000 to $180,000, with eligibility for incentive compensation at approximately 40%. The application window is anticipated to close on February 14, 2026.
