Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will ensure and deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinate all functions in the unit. You will collaborate with the management team, monitor and evaluate nursing care, and serve as a resource for staff, modeling our organization’s commitment to exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes.

  • Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput.
  • Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services with the management team.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Supports a patient‑first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
  • Operationalizes nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to improve engagement.
  • Provides recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including training, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor resources per patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Supports inventory control and manages supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
