SUMMARYThe Executive Protection Supervisor ensures the safety, welfare, and physical protection of a high-profile client, while also providing strategic leadership and tactical oversight for a dedicated team of Executive Protection Agents. This role involves directly managing a small team, being the primary point of contact for security operations at SAIC’s Reston Headquarters and ensuring seamless executive protection operations during both routine and emergency scenarios.
This is an on‑site role requiring full‑time presence during core business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional after‑hours availability as needed.
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and management of a small team of Executive Protection Agents to ensure their operational effectiveness and professional development.
- Oversee daily operations, assign tasks, and establish clear priorities for team members based on the security and protection needs of the principal and organization.
- Develop and implement performance standards and conduct regular evaluations for members of the team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for all security‑related needs at the SAIC Reston Headquarters, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Create, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all executive protection activities, including risk assessments, threat analysis, and contingency plans.
- Develop and oversee daily protection schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all executive security assignments.
- Conduct routine coordination with external security agencies and law enforcement for intelligence gathering and to maintain situational awareness of emerging threats.
- Maintain a visible, on‑site presence during core business hours to oversee and address security needs at Reston HQ effectively.
