Russian/Ukrainian Linguist – Leidos

• Translate documents from Russian/Ukrainian to English and vice versa, capturing nuance, regional references, and subject‑matter terminology.
• Provide consecutive interpretation; occasional simultaneous interpretation for briefings and meetings.
• Transcribe audio or internet‑based content into accurate English reports, demonstrating understanding of regional dialects.
• Summarize key facts and abstract concepts from large datasets, prioritizing critical information and using reference materials effectively.

• No clearance required to apply.
• Able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph before work begins.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 6–10 years related experience (additional years may substitute a degree).
• Translation and/or interpretation degree is highly desired.
• 3+ years professional, recent translation, transcription, and/or interpretation experience.
• Must pass Leidos‑administered senior‑level language proficiency test or equivalent.
• Willing to TDY to any location.
• HLT experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic online research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and target languages.

• Experience supporting contingency operations as a deployed linguist.
• Familiarity with U.S. Intelligence Community, military operations, or law enforcement environments.
• Ability to brief and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a strong asset.
