Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a QA Tester to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support software development initiatives by ensuring high standards of product quality and performance. This role is responsible for reviewing requirements, developing test strategies, executing test cases, and identifying defects before release.

The QA Tester will work closely with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, clear documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering reliable, high-quality software solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 2+ years of hands-on experience executing manual and/or automated test cases
. Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices
. Experience reviewing requirements and translating them into effective test plans
. Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate defects
. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing processes
. Solid troubleshooting skills with a structured, analytical approach
. Experience working in cross-functional development teams
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. High attention to detail and commitment to quality
. Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,300.00 - $.
