Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Interviews and offers are being conducted in anticipation of award.
The Business Analyst serves as the critical link between technical teams and business stakeholders. In this role, you will translate business requirements into clear, well-defined user stories that drive solution development within an Agile environment.
You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure requirements are well-scoped, actionable, and aligned with business objectives. This position also supports the full project lifecycle, including documentation, stakeholder communication, and testing support.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze existing system documentation and summarize current functionality relevant to project needs.
Create and maintain project roadmaps.
Translate business requirements into well-scoped user stories with clear acceptance criteria (using Gherkin syntax
).Partner with Product Owners and developers to refine backlog items.
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups).
Serve as a Business SME, collaborating with stakeholders via phone, web conferencing, and MS Teams.
Support all project lifecycle phases, from discovery through delivery.
Develop and peer-review documentation, including:
Functional specifications
Technical documentation
Training materials
Process maps and role matrices
Provide technical assistance and respond to inquiries.
Perform manual testing of user stories when required.
Deliver system demonstrations and presentations to stakeholders.
U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contract).
Ability to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance.
Must reside and perform work within the United States.
6+ years of business analysis experience.
Experience translating requirements into scoped user stories.
Experience creating documentation such as process maps and role matrices.
3+ years working in an Agile environment.
2+ years independently eliciting and prioritizing stakeholder requirements.
1+ year experience with the Service Now Platform
.1+ year facilitating sprint ceremonies.
1+ year using Gherkin syntax
.Active DHS or DoW Public Trust clearance.
Experience with
Service Now App Engine, CSM, or ITSM
.Experience manually testing user stories.
Understanding of system technologies related to project deliverables.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present and demonstrate system functionality to stakeholders.
Strong collaboration and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

CompensationFull-time annual salary range:
$81,499 – $138,549 (Nationwide Remote)
Final compensation depends on experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, and contract-specific labor categories.
