We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4

HANA Developer to support a critical modernization initiative for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This role will be instrumental in delivering a stable, scalable, and well-documented SAP S/4

HANA Customer Management CM solution as part of the agency s transition from SAP CRM.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in Brownfield migrations, custom development, and Fiori enablement, with a deep understanding of governance and change management best practices in complex federal environments.

• Support a high-impact federal modernization program
• Work on a large-scale SAP S/4
  
  HANA transformation
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and functional experts
• Contribute to a mission-driven organization improving public health infrastructure

• Lead Greenfield technical development efforts to transition custom SAP CRM code to SAP S/4
  
  HANA Customer Management CM
• Perform Brownfield migration activities, including technical migration of development objects and configurations across the SAP landscape
• Optimize legacy code for compatibility and performance within the S/4
  
  HANA environment
• Conduct impact analysis, code remediation, testing, and deployment support

• Enable and deploy SAP Fiori applications
• Design and configure Spaces, Pages, and Catalogs
• Collaborate with Security and Functional teams to ensure successful Fiori deployment and role-based access controls

• Apply best practices in Change Management, Release Management, and Configuration Management
• Ensure thorough documentation to mitigate migration risk and support long-term sustainability
• Support testing, defect resolution, and production readiness activities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR High School diploma with 9 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP S/4
  
  HANA Brownfield migration experience
• Strong technical experience with the SAP S/4
  
  HANA technical suite
• Demonstrated experience transitioning SAP CRM custom code to S/4
  
  HANA CM
• Solid understanding of Greenfield vs. Brownfield development strategies
• Experience working within structured governance frameworks
• Must be a US Citizen or a Green Card Holder
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting CDC or other Federal Government programs
• Active CDC Clearance
• Experience working in highly regulated or public-sector environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
