ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts to ensure high‑quality software is released to production and certified for system changes. Produce expert‑level test documentation, manage test control databases, and perform solution testing to confirm business requirements. Track defect status, assist with system rollout documentation, and provide quality assurance across all systems. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to validate requirements, verify bug fixes, and contribute to production support and deployments.
Lead test planning and execution estimates for new development activities, communicate defect information, and manage test assignments through JIRA within an Agile process.
- 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD (academic background)
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Strong software testing experience with JIRA, SCRUM, Selenium, and other automation frameworks
- Expertise in Agile principles and ability to work under a deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of staff and management
- Active Public Trust Security Clearance or higher
- Experience working in a deadline‑driven environment, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively across all levels of staff and management
- Advanced level knowledge of JIRA, SQL, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
- Experience in System Architecture & Design
- Familiarity with government environments and standards is desired
- Experience with Cloud and Dev Ops principles is a plus
$80,000 – $128,000. This range represents the typical salary for this position and is based on factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, and geographic location. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
