We work with distributor partners who install and support Rythmos in the field. Their success directly impacts installation quality and customer experience.
We are seeking a Distributor Operations & Support Specialist to help train, support, and coordinate distributor installation teams.
This is an execution-focused role with strong growth potential.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time position for a Distributor Operations & Support Specialist based in Reston, VA.
The Distributor Operations & Support Specialist will support distributor partners during onboarding, installation, and early-stage troubleshooting.
This role requires strong organization, excellent customer service, and the ability to learn technical systems quickly.
You will become highly knowledgeable in Rythmos hardware and installation standards and serve as a key point of contact for distributor install teams.
Key functions include:
- Assist with onboarding new distributor teams
- Support training sessions (virtual and in-person)
- Help maintain and update training materials
- Track distributor certification and training completion
- Respond to distributor installation questions
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and configuration issues
- Escalate more complex issues to internal technical teams
- Document recurring install challenges
- Monitor install readiness checklists
- Ensure documentation is completed properly
- Capture field feedback from distributor teams
- Maintain organized records of recurring issues
- Identify patterns that may indicate product or training gaps
- 2–5 years experience in technical support, operations, coordination, or similar role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn hardware + software systems
- Ability to troubleshoot methodically and stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable working in-office in Reston, VA
- Ability to travel up to 25%, if needed
- Experience supporting field technicians or installers
- Experience in IoT, telecom, healthcare tech, security systems, or similar environments
- Experience working with channel partners or distributors
