• Build and maintain Python workflows for text and data processing
• Review and validate extracted data for accuracy
• Work with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data is available and reliable
• Support improvements to data science workflows and best practices
• Document methods, assumptions, and limitations of data processes
• Monitor data quality and ensure integrity across sources

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with data analytics tools
• Hands-on experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering
• Proficiency with Python is required to build and maintain workflows
• Strong MS Excel skills are required. Candidates should be comfortable with advanced formulas, functions and macros.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Knowledge of PII, PHI, GDPR, FERPA, and other data privacy regulations is a plus
• Exposure to AI or machine learning or deep learning is a plus
• Text processing and natural language processing are preferred

This is a fully onsite role in Reston, VA, and we prefer local candidates. This is a full-time role. This position may require the employee to remain in the office beyond standard working hours until all essential duties and assignments are completed. Work hours may vary depending on workload and business needs.
