We are seeking a visionary and empathetic designer to join a dynamic team as a key contributor. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of digital learning and engagement, directly influencing how users interact with complex, content-rich applications. Your expertise will drive the creation of intuitive, inclusive, and impactful products that truly meet real user needs and advance educational equity.

As a core member of our cross-functional teams, you will play a pivotal role in the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and strategy to polished, production-ready designs. You will advocate for users, ensuring that every design decision contributes to a seamless, equitable, and engaging experience. Your work will directly enhance how users learn, grow, and achieve their goals through our digital platforms.

• Contribute meaningfully to early-stage discovery and strategic design efforts, partnering with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities and define direction.
• Lead and contribute to design sprints, envisioning sessions, and workshops to explore problem spaces, generate ideas, and align teams around shared outcomes.
• Synthesize research, usability findings, behavioral data, and operational inputs into clear, insight-driven design directions.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform, validate, and refine design decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Champion human-centered, inclusive design practices grounded in accessibility standards to ensure solutions meet diverse user needs.
• Communicate design rationale, insights, and vision clearly through compelling artifacts, narratives, and presentations.
• Deliver high-quality UI designs with strong visual hierarchy, interaction clarity, and meticulous attention to detail across web and native mobile experiences.
• Apply design system components, patterns, and tokens accurately, while actively identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement within robust web and native mobile design systems.
• Plan, conduct, and synthesize usability testing to validate flows, components, and interactions, driving iterative design improvements.
• Create prototypes at appropriate fidelity to explore, test, and communicate design solutions effectively.
• Design and test experiences using inclusive design principles informed by accessibility standards, applying plain language to support clarity and comprehension.
• Design for responsive, mobile-first web experiences and native mobile applications.
• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and stakeholders throughout discovery, design, and delivery phases.
• Maintain organized, well-documented design files and artifacts to support efficient collaboration and continuity.
• Follow established team workflows and design processes, while providing constructive feedback to improve team operations.
• Actively participate in standups, sprint planning, design reviews, critiques, and QA cycles.
• Translate design decisions into clear, implementation-ready specifications and annotations.
• Communicate ideas, research insights, and design solutions with clarity and confidence in both synchronous and asynchronous settings.

• A strong portfolio showcasing your product design work, including UX and UI expertise.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (interaction design, HCI, industrial design, information science, social sciences, computer science, graphic design, etc.) and/or equivalent years of work experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in product or service design.
• Strong product design mindset with extensive experience designing for complex, content-rich websites and applications, including data-heavy dashboards.
• Proficiency in design thinking and human-centered methodologies, with the ability to translate insights into actionable design direction.
• Excellent skills in creating and communicating design artifacts, including information design, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Extensive experience working within robust design systems for both web and native mobile platforms.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, inclusive design principles, and accessibility standards.
• Experience planning, leading, and conducting focus groups, interviews, and usability testing, and incorporating findings into design decisions.
• Fluency in industry-standard design tools including Figma, Figjam, Miro, Adobe
  
  CC, and user research platforms like Lovable, DScout, User Insight, Zeplin, and Lyssna.
