Position: Sr. Requirement Consultant

Responsibilities
  • Provides Subject Matter Expert contracting knowledge.
  • Builds, edits, and maintains the team backlog.
  • Prioritizes backlog items based on user value, time, and other team dependencies.
  • Provides story detail and priorities during Iteration Planning.
  • Coordinates with Scrum Master, Dev Team, Product Manager Liaison, Government Product Manager, Government Product Owner (when applicable).
  • Coordinates with Architecture team to vet architectural requests.
  • Coordinates with Government Product Owner's to accept stories as completed.
  • Provides Acceptance Criteria that assures quality and user expectations.
  • Works across teams to define and implement improvement stories based on Inspect and Adapt events.
Qualifications
  • Contracting Experience in the Federal Government.
  • Experience with the entire contracting process, pre‑award through post‑award.
  • Understanding complex contracting internal and external rules, regulations, and policy
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert guidance to the team in contracting, compliance, and contractual relationships.
  • Familiarization with Procure to Pay Process and Data Standards
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and technologies.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to concisely describe business requirements.
  • Documentation of business requirements. Examples of documentation include business requirement specifications (BSR), context diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
  • Presentation of requirements findings and mockups for review with sponsors and end users.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with requirement tools (i.e., Jira/Confluence)
  • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in writing business requirements used to create enterprise class web‑based software.
  • Ability to research document repositories and existing code.
  • Previous agile experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Government Position of Trust
  • Must be a U.S. citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must pass a background investigation
Citizenship or Work Authorization Required
  • Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Top‑Secret Clearance is required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or an Engineering degree from an accredited
    * institution. A required certification may be accepted in lieu of education requirement.
