Data Center Engineer; TS​/SCI Scope Polygraph Security Clearance

Position: Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) with Security Clearance
Piper Companies is hiring a Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) to support a secure data center environment in the Reston, VA area. The ideal candidate for the Systems Engineer - TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph will have strong experience in Linux and Windows systems engineering and network administration, supporting large enterprise environments. The Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) role requires to work standard business hours in the SCIF Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) include:
* Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage network activity for large enterprise customer data networks

* Collaborate with engineering teams to support customer project requests

* Provide high-level technical expertise for LAN and WAN environments

* Recommend improvements to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security Requirements for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph) include:
* Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

* 3+ years of systems and network administration/engineering experience

* Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

* Knowledge of key networking technologies and protocols including EIGRP, BGP, SD-WAN, and MPLS

* Experience with WAN, LAN, firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration

* Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments

* Previous experience with VMware, including building and deploying virtual machines
Compensation for the Data Center Engineer (TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph): * $125,000 - $200,000 annually
