Open Text UCMDB / CMS Subject Matter Expert
We are seeking an Open Text UCMDB / CMS Subject Matter Expert to support and maintain an enterprise UCMDB environment. This role focuses on improving application‑to‑CI mapping, supporting day‑to‑day operations, and implementing enhancements and integrations based on client needs.
Responsibilities- Maintain and support Open Text UCMDB
- Configure CI models, views, reports, and relationships
- Implement enhancements and new functionality
- Support integrations with Asset Manager and NNMi
- Gather requirements for discovery and data collection
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Communicate status and updates to technical teams and leadership
- Work with vendors and vendor support as needed
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of experience with a HS Degree/Diploma
- Open Text UCMDB / CMS
- UCMDB / Universal Discovery (UD)
- CI Type Manager, TQL
- Modeling Studio, Enrichment Manager
- User roles and security
- CMDB / CMS concepts and integrations
- Infrastructure Knowledge
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches)
- Windows and UNIX basics
- SQL fundamentals (Oracle and/or MS SQL)
- VMware and virtualization concepts
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Agency clearance
- Desired
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions and gather requirements
- Experience working in enterprise IT environments
- Strong communication skills

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
