Ana Vation LLC is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to join our team and support our mission‑critical customer in Reston, VA. As part of the engineering team, you will support customer meetings, quarterly Agile Development Planning, and provide technical support for planning, designing, testing, integrating, configuring, and delivering software services across development, test, and production environments. Your work will involve AWS cloud services, including modernization of Elastic, RHEL, WSUS, and cross‑domain integration and automation, and the support of 10 core applications and data services used by multiple Government agencies.

The Systems Integration Engineer will develop and deliver new capabilities, support existing infrastructure and applications, and add new data sources to secure mission systems. Representative responsibilities include installing, configuring, and working with cloud and database engineers to automate provisioning of resources; validating documentation; creating and updating scripts to automate operations in cloud and Linux‑based environments; developing test data and system testing;

documenting all phases of the application development life cycle; monitoring and managing system resources; and serving as team expert for design, setup, configuration, maintenance, and administration of environments such as Elastic, WSUS, and Red Hat Satellite Servers.

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Certifications:
  
  DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred or equivalent certifications covering both requirements acceptable, such as Security+ and Cloud+), within 30 days of contract start
• Location:
  
  Full‑time onsite in Reston, VA
• Experience
  • At least 10 years of relevant technical experience
  • At least 2 years of AWS production delivery (comparable Azure Cloud experience may be considered)
  • At least 2 years of Linux development and production delivery
  • At least 2 years with Agile programs for Government projects
  • Systems Integration Engineering experience with modern application development, backend development, modern UI frameworks, relational databases, and web services
  • Experience configuring and managing development, test, and production hosting environments
  • Expertise scripting in Python, Bash, Power Shell, .NET, or C#
  • Experience automating tasks with tools like Ansible
  • Experience with backup, restore, and testing configuration of relational databases and systems
  • Experience writing enterprise‑level technical standard documentation and diagrams
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ticketing systems such as Jira, Git Lab/Git Hub Issues while collaborating across technical and customer teams at all experience levels

  • Experience providing systems engineering, integration, and architecture support to intelligence community customers
  • Experience providing inputs to Government Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization processes
