Position Title

Cloud Architect/Developer/Engineer

Candidate will work closely with a diverse client project team responsible for building, maintaining, deploying, and administering mission software and web applications distributed across multiple networks that collect, process, store, search, visualize, or deliver unique mission data. These functions will be applied to specific client IT programs or across a large enterprise of federated programs developed by different organizations. The development environment is fast‑paced, spans the full application stack, and increasingly leverages agile development methodologies, Dev Sec Ops  tools and processes, and an expanding cloud‑based infrastructure.

Depending on current team needs, responsibilities may include: developing cloud systems plans and strategy; implementation of enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing; and design, development, and deployment of applications into a Cloud or Hybrid Cloud; contribute to development of security authorization documentation; represent program in design reviews and demonstrations; and mentor junior developers.

• Clearance: Positions require U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Degree: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely‑related Engineering or IT discipline.
• Certifications: We prefer one or more of the following certifications: AWS Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, AWS Certified Big Data, AWS Solutions Architect);
  Microsoft Azure certifications;
  Professional Cloud Solutions Architect.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years (with minimum 3 years in the IC) developing, securing, integrating, deploying, maintaining, and evaluating systems leveraging a cloud‑based infrastructure.

• Architecting and leading the development and integration of cloud‑based information systems consisting of infrastructure, platform, software, data, analytics, and security “as‑a‑service” components.
• Directing and assisting cloud system engineers in the application of system engineering principles to secure cloud systems design problems.
• Full application stack systems analysis and software/application development life cycle based on modern agile development practices.
• Object‑oriented programming development concepts and design patterns.
• Programming languages:
  Java, Java script, Python, C/C++, JSON, PHP, Perl, SQL, Scala, Groovy, Ruby, Pig/Hive, Elixir, XML.
• Frameworks:
  Angular, React, ExtJS, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
