Job Description

This job is to support the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Authority. The ideal candidate brings a combination of functional and technical expertise in aviation systems operations management to be able to analyze, evaluate and recommend best approach to optimize the utilization of current and future systems for air traffic control management.

Job Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of client’s mission area to develop and refine concepts of operations and operational plans that make optimum use of existing and planned systems to meet mission needs. As required, participates in the development of system concepts, system requirements, concepts of operations, and training requirements in every phase of the system development process. Support the planning, development, analysis and implementation of operational models including and not limited to financial, safety, security, environmental, logistical, procedural, training, maintenance, reliability, availability, and human factors considerations.
  
  Provide operational leadership in the execution of support activities.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Experience in relevant operational and mission areas. Experience includes planning, performing, and supervising the day-to-day operational functions associated with the organization's primary mission
• Expertise in documentation, and presentation tools
• Exceptional oral and written communication organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with ATC systems management and operations. Previous experience working with FAA systems

Education:Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience
