We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and visionary senior leader to oversee our digital line of business (Digital LOB) that serves public sector clients. The Digital LOB includes digital services like web application design, architecture, & engineering; product management & agile delivery;
Human-Centered Design and user experience (UX); customer experience (CX) consulting; and digital performance analytics.
The Senior Partner will define the strategic direction, expand client relationships, drive growth, and foster a culture of creativity and accountability across a team of 160+ professionals. The ideal candidate will also drive change management efforts to help the team integrate artificial intelligence (AI) automation into personal workflows and deliver AI-enabled digital experiences to our clients. As a member of the senior leadership team, the individual will be responsible for overall organizational health and growth.
Job LocationRemote U.S. This position must be performed in the United States. The job requires that the employee work within the U.S. and ICF monitors work locations, blocking foreign locations and personal VPN connections. Travel to an ICF office or client site may be required at least 10% of the time. Core work hours are 10 am–4 pm Eastern Time with flexibility to start earlier or later depending on time zone.
WhatYou Will Do
- Leverage relationships with senior levels of client organizations to develop a significant pipeline of new work and foster robust growth.
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing guidance on a wide variety of client accounts, managing expectations, resolving conflict, and building long‑term relationships.
- Contribute knowledge and expertise to develop and evaluate digital services, leading new organizational capabilities that enhance ICF Next’s market position.
- Lead 160+ Tech PMs, engineers, UXers, product managers, agile BAs, and strategists, setting long‑term goals, cultivating a productive work environment, and coaching, mentoring, and providing on‑the‑job training.
- Drive sales, revenue, and operating margin targets through strategic planning, financial and project management, and effective business development.
- Represent ICF Next externally through thought leadership, conferences, and partnerships that enhance the company’s market presence and reputation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or training in business or technology leadership preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience delivering complex, public‑facing digital experiences—ideally in an agency or consultancy that serves public sector clients.
- 8+ years’ experience in successful contract delivery of complex digital products or systems meeting rigorous public sector standards for security, privacy, accessibility, availability, and incident response SLAs.
- 8+ years’ experience in financial management, overseeing P&L, forecasting, and staffing; strong understanding of contract types, terms, and financial management balanced with client relationship management.
- 8+ years’ experience fostering growth, with a track record of year‑over‑year growth and success developing and executing business‑development growth strategies; experience as a “seller‑doer” leading capture efforts for complex digital modernization efforts in government agencies.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain and maintain government security investigation and meet eligibility for sensitive information access.
- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
