Intelligent Waves is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets clients’ needs and leverages cloud capabilities. In this role you will develop container‑management software, processes, and strategies to help "harness the cloud" and support our clients’ move to the cloud.

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will use your experience and knowledge to improve the client environment with current container software, ensuring seamless integration. You will apply your Dev Ops platform experience, collaborate in a team environment to develop strategy and design, and ensure standards are met throughout the containerization process.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI

• Design, build, and maintain the underlying platform environment
• Utilize and manage a variety of tools for containerization
• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms
• Execute within a Git‑based workflow process

• 4+ years of experience with Dev Ops and Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of experience with automation tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, or Puppet)
• 3+ years of experience automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and Dev Ops pipelines in cloud environments
• 3+ years of experience managing Git‑based version control systems (Git Lab, Git Hub)
• 2+ years of experience architecting and deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code environments and large‑scale software deployments, CI/CD
• Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with system integration protocols (JSON, REST, XML)
• Experience scripting in Bash, Power Shell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
• Experience using JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
• Agile certification
• Dev Ops certification
• Cloud certification
