Overview
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Senior HRIS Analyst to join a leading company located in the Reston, VA surrounding area.
Responsible for Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) set up and maintenance, optimization, reporting, testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, system security, and year-end support. Support system integrations to ensure proper controls, while recommending and establishing new controls as needed.
Responsibilities- Lead or support specific modules within the HRIS system for the region, ensuring configurations meet both global and regional requirements.
- Interprets business requirements into specifications for HRIS applications and interfaces.
- Designs and maintains code and tables, prepares reports for Human Resources systems and applications, and investigates and analyzes systems to resolve any complex and large-scale issues.
- Executes internal processes, develops and performs audits to ensure the integrity of all systems.
- Collaborates with functional users to develop all business processes for various human resources systems and provides support to all associated activities.
- Designs and runs complex queries, resolves queries and ensures accuracy, prepares business documents, and provides upgrades.
- Executes and/or monitors all scheduled import/export interfaces and files to third-party vendors.
- Tests and implements file feeds and interfaces for any add-on technology to our HRIS as needed.
- Audits and reviews changes within HRIS to ensure proper controls and separation of duties and assist in establishing new controls, as needed.
- Aids in coordinating system and security administration for multiple HRIS/Payroll-related systems as needed.
- Develops and conducts a robust training program for new users, provides end-user support and assistance to the respective HRIS module or system you support.
- Works with external vendors and other service providers to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely exchange of information.
- Actively participate in the continuous digitization of HR processes, including identifying automation opportunities and optimization initiatives.
- Ensures the HRIS system(s) adhere to regional regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Performs additional duties, works on special projects, and collaborates with the HRIS team as needed and assigned.
- A rotating schedule of over 55 hours per week is typical.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience working in a high-volume, manufacturing, food production, and restaurant or catering environment, or equivalent experience in the related field is preferred.
- Associate's degree or a degree from a 4-year university or college is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/Chinese Mandarin/Vietnamese/Hindi or Polish a plus.
- In-flight catering experience is highly desired.
- Current or previous labor relations experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must have strong and effective leadership skills.
- Comfortable with all levels of employees and have the ability to drive positive program change.
- Ability to train others required.
- Excellent time management skills required.
- Must have the ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees on a daily basis.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills required.
- Must be innovative and have the ability to make changes to the operation as needed to further improve the work environment and unit performance.
- Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
- Expresses oneself clearly and effectively when speaking and writing to individuals and groups; listens attentively and ensures communication is understood by all parties involved.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
