Crescent Hotels & Resorts is honored to announce an exciting opportunity for a talented Banquet Houseperson for the grand opening of JW Marriott Reston Station Residences this Fall. Join the opening team of the first JW Marriott in Virginia. The hotel features 247 rooms, a large luxury meeting space, and is conveniently located along the Silver Line Metro between Dulles International and Reagan National airports.

• Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
• Set up all meeting rooms to the guest specifications, including transporting staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc., from storage to meeting rooms.
• Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
• Break down all meeting rooms after meetings and return equipment to storage for the next function.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for meeting rooms and ballrooms to keep spaces presentable.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must be able to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Adequate appearance standards. Ability to communicate well with guests. Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis. Willingness to pitch in and help coworkers as a team player.
