The New Patient Coordinator is the first point of contact for individuals inquiring about medical solutions for back or neck conditions. This role involves engaging with prospective patients over the phone, establishing a positive initial connection, and guiding them through the scheduling and intake process with clear, compassionate direction.
Primary responsibilities include building instant rapport, conveying trust, and guiding prospects toward becoming new patients. You will use expert communication, emotional intelligence, and an understanding of our value to support growth of our patient community and establish a foundation for an elite patient experience addition to patient engagement, the role includes key administrative tasks such as verifying insurance benefits and accurately collecting and documenting Protected Health Information (PHI).
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential to ensure information is handled thoroughly and securely. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced environments, communicate with clarity and empathy, and understand how to move prospects through the conversion journey. The position is rooted in a collaborative, call-center setting and works closely with our marketing team; a foundational understanding of marketing principles, particularly in guiding prospects toward a decision, is beneficial.
- Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking medical solutions for back or neck conditions; engage with prospects by phone and guide them through scheduling and intake.
- Build instant rapport, convey trust, and move prospects toward becoming new patients.
- Collaborate with a marketing team in a call-center environment to support the patient conversion journey.
- Verify insurance benefits and accurately collect and document Protected Health Information (PHI) with careful attention to accuracy and security.
- Excellent verbal communication and empathetic interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and guide prospects through the conversion process.
- Attention to detail and commitment to handling PHI securely.
- Foundational understanding of marketing principles is beneficial but not required.
