RPSGT - PRN - Pulmonary Care - Reston, VA

Med Bridge Healthcare is seeking an experienced RPSGT to work PRN at Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates at Sleep Diagnostic Center in Reston, VA. This position will provide sleep services on an as needed basis during nighttime hours. Competitive hourly rates are available, depending on experience and patient ratio.

Med Bridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. Med Bridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully‑integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long‑term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

• Facilitating tests and collecting data
• Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results
• Following proper polysomnographic procedures including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks
• Analyzing (scoring) clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data to be submitted for further review
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws concerning safety control

• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program
• Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current BCLS certification
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required
