Collaborate with the circulating RN and surgical tech to organize the operating suite, manage instruments and supplies, ensure equipment function before procedures, and maintain an orderly sterile instrument table. Assist with patient transfer, positioning, preparation, draping, and scrub/gown/glove duties. Support the surgical team by passing instruments, handling medications, replenishing supplies, and performing counts. Maintain cleanliness, restock, and clean rooms as needed.

Participate in patient and procedural verification, respond to emergencies and on‑call situations, uphold safety and privacy standards, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Currently enrolled in an approved Surgical Technologist program or a vocational school graduate.
• Knowledge of asepsis, universal precautions, and safety protocols.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high‑volume surgical environment.
