Specialty Care, the leading provider of perfusionist services in the U.S., is looking to expand our team in beautiful Reston, VA! We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team as a Chief Perfusionist. We are seeking an experienced perfusionist to support one surgeon covering one hospital in Reston, VA and other accounts as needed in the metro DC area.
The adult-only caseload averages around 150 cases per year, primarily low-risk valves and CABGs. The caseload is shared with one other perfusionist. Non-Cardiac cell saver cases are covered by local ATS technicians in the area.

Position Requirements- Graduate of an accredited perfusion training program.
- Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or meet other company requirements as a perfusionist.
- Ability to work on call; must live within 30 minutes of the hospital.
- Focused on clinical quality and delivering the absolute best results for patients.
- Adapt and thrive in a high-stress environment.
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Proven self-starter who works well independently and as part of the OR team.
