The Radiology Technician performs radiographic procedures using fixed and portable units in the imaging department, nursing units, and operating suites. The role includes assisting physicians in fluoroscopy, practicing radiation safety, observing universal precautions, pursuing professional development, and performing related duties as required.

• Utilize appropriate resources to complete assignments within allocated time.
• Adapt to changes in volume/acuity demands and remain calm in crisis situations.
• Adhere to Attendance and Tardiness Policy.
• Support responsible staffing decisions (e.g., cancel, hold/on‑call assignments).
• Demonstrate efforts to eliminate waste.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA or an equivalent program.
• Licensure:
  Current ARRT certification as an RT(R) or eligibility for registry (must obtain certification within 6 months of hire).
• BCLS certification required.
• Experience:
  
  Ability to perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures following accepted standards and departmental protocols.
