Job Overview:
Available Immediately

This position will assist with maintenance of existing legacy applications and support the transition to a new system architecture. Location is the Reston area.

NOTE:

Additional security scrub required.

Responsibilities and requirements

Required skills and demonstrated experience:

  • 5 or more years with Full Stack development experience
  • 5 or more years with supporting legacy applications
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) with C# desktop application development
  • Design and deploy bug fixes written in the C# software language to support an existing legacy system
  • Experience working on an application built on client/server-based architecture
  • 3 years experience with RDMS support
  • Experience developing, implementing and maintaining complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers in support of applications
  • Demonstrated strong troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Proficiency with Git

Highly desired, though not required, include:

  • Familiarity with the Sponsor's A&A process
  • Familiarity with Dev Ops

Travel and citizenship requirements:

  • This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.
  • Security Clearance:
    The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Clearance Verification:
    This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
  • Travel:
    This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
