Emergent Technologies Inc. is seeking an Expert‑Level Systems Engineer to join a high‑impact Surge Support effort for a key government customer. The selected candidate will play a critical role in replicating an existing system infrastructure onto new hardware in a live network environment, followed by a seamless migration to establish the new production system. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong collaboration, and precision execution.

• Experience: Minimum 11 years of relevant systems engineering experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (required)

• Gain a detailed understanding of the existing system architecture and configurations
• Build an exact replica of the existing production system on new hardware
• Configure and validate the new system in parallel on the same network
• Coordinate and execute the data migration from the old system to the new environment
• Transition the replica environment into the new production system
• Collaborate with the current engineering team to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer
• Troubleshoot system-level issues and maintain system integrity during the transition

• Strong expertise in Active Directory configuration and administration
• Proficiency with VMware virtualization technologies
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2016/2019
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 operating systems
• Understanding of network configurations and routing within MS Office 2019 environments

• Skype for Business (MS) deployment and management
• Experience working with Cisco UCS server infrastructure
• Familiarity with Net App Storage systems
• Knowledge of Veritas Backup solutions
• Experience implementing Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) technologies
