As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company.
You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, evaluation, design, and construction of Google’s space in data center facilities across the globe. You will help evaluate, plan, design, cost, and build new and enhanced space in data center facilities. You will help Google execute the goal to design and build spaces that last multiple years.
Minimum qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with Data Center architecture.
- Experience with planning in a colocation environment.
- 5 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.
- Experience working on evaluating and designing data center infrastructure.
- Experience in AutoCAD drafting.
- Understand space and power management for data center environments.
- Review and thoroughly understand Google’s Network Architecture Standards.
- Develop reporting and metrics related to data center infrastructure capacity planning.
- Work with Google Operations and Engineering teams.
- Create high‑level project plans that identify resource needs and critical path.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $156,000–$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
