• Collaborate with Engineers and Product Managers to implement functionality
• Ability to meet deadlines and satisfy requirements from other Engineers and Product Management
• Designing and delivering efficient and comprehensive best practices
• Architect, deploy and help maintain cloud-first/services-first secure solutions in support of our next-generation services, leveraging Dev Ops principles
• Drive the security architecture and implementation for APIs and Microservices deployed on Kubernetes Services
• Work with third parties and tools on Cloud security and compliance including regular security scanning, penetration testing
• Architecting and maintaining multiple automated pipelines that build, test, security scan, and deploy various code bases
• Communicate effectively and efficiently across all divisions including with the business, technical teams, and leaders
• Analyzing and streamlining the existing Dev Ops practices
• Simplifying the development process and operations

A minimum of 10 years' experience in backup administration support for large scale environments specifically including:

• 10 years' experience installing and configuring backups
• Working knowledge of advanced backup tools
• 10 years' experience writing scripts with a scripting language
• Familiarity with Dev Ops and ITIL processes
• Familiarity with on-premise or Cloud to Cloud backup migrations
• Working knowledge of data base backup and restore on Net Backup, Backup Exec, and VEEAM

Preferred Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Related Field

• Communicate verbally and respond to verbal communications in person and over the phone
• Communicate clearly and succinctly in writing, primarily utilizing a keyboard
• Engage in intermittent physical activity, including bending, reaching, lifting, filing, and prolonged periods of sitting
• Travel minimally, via car or plane, which requires ability to manage luggage, laptop, and briefing materials (up to 25 pounds)
