We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer (10‑15 years) with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive the design, implementation, and governance of cloud‑native infrastructure. This role requires both hands‑on technical capability and leadership skills to guide engineering teams, ensure architectural best practices, and deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and lead technical initiatives to drive cloud adoption and best practices.
• Cloud Architecture: Design and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure, including multi‑region solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and manage security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection measures to meet strict government standards like FedRAMP.
• Dev Ops & Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance & Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost, and capacity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, security teams, and other stakeholders to meet technical and business requirements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience
• AWS Mastery: 10+ years in cloud engineering, with deep hands‑on expertise across core AWS services.
• Automation & IaC:
  Advanced experience with Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation. Strong background in building modular, reusable infrastructure components.
• Dev Ops & CI/CD:
  Experience setting up enterprise‑grade pipelines (AWS Code Pipeline, Git Lab, Jenkins) for continuous integration and delivery.
• Security & Compliance:
  Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, IAM policy design, encryption, audit, and compliance frameworks
• Resilience & Performance:
  Expertise in architecting for scalability, availability (multi‑region/multi‑AZ), disaster recovery, and fault tolerance.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  Strong ability to engage stakeholders, present technical strategies, and influence decision‑making at senior levels.

Multi‑cloud Awareness:
Understanding of other platforms (Azure, GCP)
