French Language teacher

One of our clients in Reston would like to have two-to-one GENERAL French classes. These students wish to have classes at one of these library locations:

• 768 Center St, Herndon, VA, 20170
• 11925 Bowman Towne Drive, Reston, VA, 20190
• 4000 Stringfellow Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151

They would like to have a 30-hour course. Classes of two hours should be held once per week, weekends at any time of day or weekdays after 5pm on Monday or after 6pm Tuesday-Thursday, and they wish to start on 1 February.

  Ideally we could schedule this at one of these library locations (the Herndon one is most convenient but only open on Saturdays and after evenings on Monday/Tuesday); the other two have evening availability Monday-Thursday as well as Saturday/Sunday: 768 Center St Herndon, VA,  Bowman Towne Drive Reston, VA,  Stringfellow Rd Chantilly, VA, .
• Estimated Current Language Level: Beginner
• Motivation:
  In June, we will be travelling to France (along with our teenage niece and nephew) for the first time and my husband and I are hoping to pick up basic phrasings to communicate at a very basic level on the trip doing tourist things.
• Student's age group: 35-44
• Comments about how student has been learning the language: we are complete beginners at French!
• Aspect of the language mostly interested in: most interested in speaking, reading

• Be a native French speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid working visa
• Live up to 20 miles from the client’s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part‑time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
